The Collingwood Cottage is a distilled exploration of colour and form. Completed on a shoestring budget and within a tight time frame, the project updates a tiny, rundown terrace for modern life. An all-encompassing use of colour within small spaces such as the bedroom and bathroom distracts from the spatial constraints inherent within single-fronted terraces. The feature of the house, a bold stair, is tucked into the corner of the living room and doubles as storage and seating.
